Job Description:

MTL, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Programming Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and a keen eye for detail, particularly when working with blueprints and nesting parts on sheets. This role is crucial for optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient scheduling for our laser machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Blueprint Analysis: Review and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate programming and execution of manufacturing processes.
• Nesting Optimization: Efficiently nest parts on sheets to minimize waste and maximize material usage.
• Laser Machine Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for laser machines to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Attention to Grain: Pay close attention to the grain of sheets and parts per print to ensure proper alignment and quality.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all programming tasks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of programming with manufacturing processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in programming within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex blueprints.
• Proficiency in nesting software and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards and practices.
