Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Leader to lead our manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool and die, as well as experience with presses and press brakes. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Production Leader will be actively involved in the physical labor and technical aspects of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing workers, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of presses and press brakes, as well as tool and die equipment.
- Participate in hands-on production tasks, including operating machinery and performing technical work.
- Ensure production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Leader or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of tool and die, as well as presses and press brakes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
