Who you are:

We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a full time Product Manager career in Alpena. Candidates with the following skills, knowledge, experience and competency would have an advantage in our hiring process:

  • Mechanical engineering degree and/or experience. Extensive experience in the metal manufacturing industry would also be considered.
  • Solid Works is a “must know” platform.
  • Microsoft Word, and Excel experience that includes formulas and formatting.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.

What you will do:

Responsible for managing specific product lines. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Estimating
  • Design
  • Quality
  • Lead times
  • Inventory
  • Application knowledge
  • Technical application resolution
  • Designing accessories (that apply to certain applications) for your product line.

You must be able to work closely with marketing, sales, estimating, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure the correct product for the application is designed and shipped. Continuously look for new ways to improve your product lines margin, along with continued growth through innovation and identifying new opportunities.
