ConveyX Corp. a growing systems integrator for package handling, sorting, and automation applications is seeking to add Mechanical Engineers to their team.

Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Use CAD and Microsoft Office software to create
  • Manufacturing drawings
  • Models for concept development per customer requirements
  • Customer approval drawings
  • Instructional documentation
  • Product Testing and Inspection documentation
• Use business management software to
• Create Bill of Materials for work distribution to manufacturing and purchasing
• Create\review Internal notifications
• Gather quote and job-related information
• Search, review, and edit inventory data as needed
• Manage time effectively
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with team leaders to assign appropriate priority
• Design, engineer, and prototype new products and systems to solve customer needs
• With a focus on details, use a holistic approach that takes into consideration of all facets of developing new products and systems
• Participate in development of production methods and fixtures as needed
• Work within a budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time
• Attend meetings and provide input and updates
• Review, produce, and maintain design documentation
  • Review and implement customer specifications in product designs
  • Maintain and store design files and revision data
  • Provide explanation of design changes as needed
• Effectively communicate between project teams, customer teams, and vendors
• Work closely with Project Managers to develop task lists o anticipating tasks required to complete project, their durations and identifying any critical task order, identify concerns and mitigation plans for potential delays
• Participate in quality controls inspections, and system testing requirements

Applicants should have the following experience and qualifications:

• Utilization of CAD Tools including Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Utilization of Microsoft Office Tools including Word and Excel
• Strong engineering ethics
• Strong engineering fundamentals (math, physics, engineering)
• Experience with Design for Manufacture practices
• Understanding of basic budgeting and marketing impacts on project success
• Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized, creative, and possess superior communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly get up to speed in new constantly changing environments
• Must be a team player and be comfortable working on multiple teams and projects simultaneously
• Must have a passion for solving complex challenges with innovative solutions
• Willingness to participate in customer service calls as needed, including outside of normal working hours
• Willingness to travel on occasion

A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, a minimum of five years of related experience is required. Successful leadership experience is also preferred. This position can be a remote position, but some travel is required. All travel expenses for required travel will be reimbursed.
