Impact Team K, LLC, (ITK) is seeking qualified applicants for an Industrial Engineer position. ITK is a growing engineering company that specializes in product development and process improvement for multiple clients across Northeast Michigan. ITK leverages state-of-the-art technology to drive innovative solutions on an array of products and processes to address client needs.

Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Identify, propose, manage, and monitor manufacturing improvements
• Develop and execute manufacturing process plans
• Process flow and visual management
• Value stream mapping
• Equipment validation support, time studies and cost analysis (BOM and scheduling)
• Workflow balance and optimization
• Design of equipment to maximize productivity and reduce manufacturing costs
• Continuous improvement
• Prioritize and implement department opportunities
• Implement methods and tools for manufacturing improvements
• Lead cross functional improvement initiatives
• Manage implementation of cost savings initiatives
• Perform time studies and manufacturing floor layout improvements
• Recommend and implement layout improvements for better material flow
• Support safety and related improvements related to flow, WIP staging and reduction

Applicants should have a minimum of five years of Industrial Engineering experience, a minimum of five years of manufacturing experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, Process, or Mechanical. Experience with Microsoft Office products is required. Experience with SolidWorks, robot programming, and/or PLC programming is preferred.

Local travel, (no overnight) mostly around Northeast Michigan and a valid Driver’s License are required for this position.
