Position Overview: Endura-Veyor Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager with a passion for product design innovation. The successful candidate will manage our engineering department and lead the team in the development of industrial equipment for loose/bulk material handling industries. The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in driving the design and development of profitable, innovative, market-leading products, which deliver a leap in value for productivity, reliability, and functionality in industrial loose/bulk material handling applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide IFMC Mission, Vision, Core values, and 7 Habits focused leadership.
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers, designers, and CAD technicians, within a culture of innovation, collaboration, problem-solving, and excellence.

- Develop and execute effective 2-year and 5-year engineering growth plans.
- Continually improve the Engineering Department’s effectiveness and efficiency.
- Effectively manage the processing of customer equipment orders, including Equipment approval drawings, engineering fabrication releases, and equipment manuals.
- Manage equipment build standards, compliance, and occasional inspections through shop visits or media reviews in collaboration with the Manufacturing and/or Sales Team.
- Effectively contribute to cross-functional projects with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Estimating, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Foster a positive work environment that delivers effective creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Product Innovation:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for product innovation, aligning with company priorities and goals, market opportunities, and customer needs.
- Identify and prioritize product innovation through market knowledge, customer feedback, and industry insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product innovation initiatives.
- Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to industrial equipment design and application.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team, driving the adoption of best practices, design methodologies, and high value techniques.
- Act as a subject matter expert in mechanical engineering principles, providing technical guidance and support in resolving design challenges.
- Mechanical Design and Development:
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Lead the design and optimization of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems, using 3D modeling software tools, simulation software, and prototyping techniques.
- Conduct appropriate analysis, testing, and validation of product designs to ensure meeting performance, reliability, and manufacturability expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design, development, and innovation within the material handling industrial equipment manufacturing industries.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical design principles, 3D modeling software (SolidWorks), finite element analysis (FEA), and prototyping techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to our customers and internal stakeholders and influence decision-making.
