Pike Mfg. Corp. (https://www.balebandit.com/) located in Pittsfield, IL, is seeking to grow their team by adding another Engineer to help with metal works as well as designing agricultural equipment.

Ideal candidates:

· Can use CAD Autodesk Inventor (preferred, but SolidWorks is also acceptable)

· Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

· Are knowledgeable of C++ coding language

· Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)

· Have two or more years working as an engineer

· Are knowledgeable of the agricultural industry and equipment

· Have experience designing or maintaining mechanical systems with hydraulic actuators, valves, sprockets, bearings, linkages, and springs

· Have experience designing or manufacturing mechanical components including machined, welded, laser cut, and bent sheet metal parts

· Have knowledge with design or use of control systems with reed switches, distance sensors, pressure sensors, push buttons, and solenoids

· Ability to analyze strength, failure modes, friction, and fluid flow

· Are results-driven

· Have a positive work ethic and attitude

· Are self-motivated

· Have exceptional communication skills
