Nova-Tron Controls Corp. is seeking qualified applicants for a position as a Controls Engineer. In this position, a Controls Engineer will have responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Design system layouts, schematics, and control devices for small to large projects based on customer specifications
• Specify all hardware and designs of electrical system utilizing AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
• Prepare schematics and specifications for control panel fabrication and wiring
• Provide support and debug during final assembly and integration with the mechanical equipment
• Provide up to date engineering package for inclusion into customer documentation
• Support of projects in the field as required including installation, acceptance testing, and startup support
• Create Programmable Logical Control (PLC) programs when required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
• Programming experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s
• Machine controls design and programming; preferred is experience with systems integrations and/or machine building

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or comparable work experience is required. This position is based out of Alpena, Michigan and can be worked remotely, but travel will be required periodically.
