Role: Account Manager

Primary Responsibility: Customer Growth and Retention

Description of the role:

Account Managers have primary stewardship over purposeful engagement with customer accounts to retain their business while seeking sales growth and increasing our share of their supply chain needs. In addition to building strong relationships with accounts, Account Managers must be able to understand the needs of potential customers to serve as a platform for introducing the company’s products and services. They are responsible for maintaining relationships with customers, as well as finding opportunities for expanding the client portfolio.

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Understanding customer supply chain needs and updating relevant account profiles
  • Using profile information and supply chain needs to propel educational opportunities.
  • Maximizing account ROI using Quote to Order Ratio, Quote Status & Market/Account Tagging.
  • Solicitation of customer feedback to understand our competency with vendor performance metric.
  • Utilizing customer feedback to evaluate our level of investment in addressing areas of
  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to solicit feedback on RMA’s and Incident occurrences.
  • Supporting the launch of new products through proactive education.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager on sales initiatives
